Ames Community Schools Edwards Elementary

This stand-alone, brand new elementary school is approximately 65,000 sf and was built primarily of masonry block walls with an exterior brick veneer.  Woodruff helped the client achieve an on-time project by controlling the schedule through self-performing trades such as concrete, steel, doors and hardware, and rough and finish carpentry. By upholding a high standard for subcontractors and by self-performing work, Woodruff was also able to control quality, which, in turn, provided the owner with an excellent finished product.
