OGDEN WWTP ACTIVATED SLUDGE
The Ogden WWTF Improvements project converted an existing wastewater treatment plant into and Aeromod activated sludge plant. The construction also included converting an existing covered primary clarifier into a brand new headworks building with a new screen and grit removal equipment. The final stages of water treatment at the plant go through an ultraviolet light channel to kill bacteria before the water re-enters our Iowa streams. Woodruff was able to work with the engineer and plant operator to keep water treated through the existing plant while the new Aeromod was constructed.
