UnityPoint TRMC Emergency Department

Woodruff Construction was selected to provide construction analysis during the programming and design phase of this project. We were involved early to provide continuity throughout the entire building process. Key subcontractors were also involved to help with the mechanical and electrical design. The project was very complex as it involved multiple phases with construction occurring in one of the busiest and most unpredictable locations in the hospital. A new addition was constructed for the emergency department. Once the addition was complete, the staff was relocated so we could begin an extensive remodel of the existing spaces for the urgent care clinic. Weekly meetings and updates with the staff were a key element to making this project successful.
