Woodruff Construction’s crane doubled as a float for the Greene County Medical Center in the Jefferson, IA parade this past Saturday, June 14th.
GreeneCountyNewsOnline covered the event with this article.
“People who attend the Bell Tower Festival parade each year are accustomed to seeing large garbage trucks from Scranton Manufacturing and all sizes and shapes of tractors.
Something new this year will be a very large crane as part of Greene County Medical Center’s parade entry. The crane is being provided by Woodruff Construction, general contractor for the $22.5 million expansion and renovation now under way at the medical center. Parade watchers will be able to see up close how big a construction crane is.
At the parade, medical center employees will hand out key chains promoting Greene County Medical Center as the ‘key to health care in Greene County.’”
