With its recent donation to the Fort Dodge Community Schools (FDCS) Foundation, Woodruff Construction has funded new Lego sets for each classroom pod at the new Duncombe Elementary School as well as provided for other district-wide needs. Woodruff was the general contractor for the new elementary school.
A news article by the FDCS Foundation shares details about how the donation will be used and provides the following quote from Woodruff Construction West Region President Dave O’Brien.
“We are thrilled to add this finishing touch to the building project. Legos promote creativity and problem-solving skills, plus they are a lot of fun to build with. We are happy to fund this experience for Duncombe students and inspire future project managers, architects and engineers.”
