Woodruff Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of Grant Reimers to Central Region Vice President, Kevin Larsen to Project Manager, and Devin Shiflett to Field Operations Manager.
Reimers began his Woodruff career in 2013 as a Superintendent Intern and subsequently served as Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.
“Grant has consistently exemplified Woodruff’s core values,” says Jason Rechkemmer, Chief Operating Officer of Woodruff Construction. “He has always gone above and beyond to serve clients, lead employees, and give back to the communities Woodruff serves. There is no doubt he will excel in his new role as Vice President of the Central Region.”
In his new role, Reimers will oversee culture, employee, and project development in the central region of the state, while also supporting the overall strategy of the company.
“It’s an honor for me to be afforded the opportunity to serve as Woodruff Construction’s Central Region Vice President,” says Reimers. “Service is one of our company’s core values that I hold very highly. It will be my pleasure to serve all of the employee-owners of Woodruff.”
Larsen has been with Woodruff since 2003 when he started as a Laborer. Over the past 18 years, he has worked his way up through multiple job titles, moving now into a Project Manager role.
“Having started as a Laborer, I appreciate that Woodruff offers the opportunity to grow in the company,” says Larsen. “Woodruff has given me the opportunity to be a better employee and better person, and I’m excited to dive into this new role.”
In his new role, Larsen will coordinate and supervise the projects that come into the western region of the company.
“Both Kevin and Devin are motivated to live out our core values and provide great service to each of us and our customers,” says Chad Lennon, West Region President of Woodruff Construction. “Their experience, leadership, and consistency in their work will make them very successful in their new roles.”
Devin Shiflett joined Woodruff Construction in November of 2016 as a Carpentry Crew Laborer, moving up to Crew Lead after about a year of service, followed by a promotion to Superintendent.
In his new role, Shiflett will oversee the general operations within the field.
“I’m very excited for this new opportunity,” says Shiflett. “I appreciate that Woodruff recognizes and celebrates hard work. I look forward to many more years with Woodruff Construction and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us within the field of the west region.”
